RONALD REAGAN'S GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT

What idea caused the most deaths in the history of the human race?

The answer is communism.

When Reagan took office communism was spreading like wildfire, it was not dead and it certainly wasn't dying. It was thriving.

The “Domino Theory” was in full effect, Afghanistan 1978, Vietnam 1972–75, Cambodia 1975, Laos 1975, Congo-Brazzaville 1970, Benin 1975, Mozambique 1975, Angola 1975, Somalia 1976, Burkina Faso 1978, Ethiopia 1987. Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Venezuela had turned or were in the process of turning communist by 1980.

The December 1979 invasion of Afghanistan by the Soviet Union was the modern day equivalent to Hitler’s invasion of Czechoslovakia (the Sudetenland).

A toehold in Afghanistan would have been the launching point of a Soviet takeover of the entire Middle-East. First the puppet regimes in Syria, Egypt, Jordan and Iraq would willingly submit, then the entire region would follow. All of this accomplished with little more than the Soviet promise to declare war against Israel.

World War III was just days away from happening.

Nothing was going wrong for Communism when Reagan was elected in 1980.

There are many delusions that Democrats have found it necessary to invent in the wake Reagan’s unparalleled achievements. In order to hide from the enormous shadow of his legacy, liberals desperately attempt to give credit to anyone or anything else for the Reagan ideas that changed the world.

Everything that happened during Reagan’s tenure was designed and planned long before it happened, nothing was an accident or occurred by stroke of luck.

Two incredible books detail how Reagan conceived his entire agenda long before he was elected President. At a time when he had no staff, no supporters, no speech writers, no political advisors Reagan's entire agenda is recorded and documented.

Reagan was so used to doing everything himself, when he was first elected, he wrote his own speeches. But then the weight of being President made this impossible to continue.

To quote -

From 1975 to 1979 Ronald Reagan gave more than 1,000 daily radio broadcasts, the great majority of which he wrote himself.

a time when Reagan held no political office, but was nonetheless mapping out a strategy to transform the economy, end the cold war, and create a vision of America that would propel him to the presidency.

These radio programs demonstrate that Reagan had carefully considered nearly every issue he would face as president. Reagan's radio broadcasts will change his reputation even among his closest allies and friends. Here, in his own voice, Reagan the thinker is finally fully revealed.

Reagan In His Own Voice

The collection also shows that Reagan, not his advisers, was the main architect of the agenda on which he campaigned against Jimmy Carter in 1980 and which he successfully implemented as president.

Reagan, In His Own Hand

IN 1980, Reagan inherited a world gone completely insane -

Communism was spreading like wildfire.

Islamic Fundamentalism was spreading like a plague.

America had been dealt a series of humiliating defeats, Vietnam, Watergate, the OPEC Oil Embargo, etc. The drug epidemic was truly beginning to take hold.

The Federal Reserve had a lunatic at the helm who raised the prime interest rate to 21.5% percent by Dec. 1980. This effectively made borrowing money impossible.

To put this in today’s money.... the average US home costs $213,146, according to Zillow. For a 30 year fixed rate loan at 21.5%....your payments would be $3,825.98 per month. But that's only if you happened to be a rich “Prime Rate” customer.

It would be about $4,200 a month for regular people. Can you make a $4200 dollar month house payment?

Home ownership was impossible.

Starting a business was impossible.

Most people who write on the internet today have no idea what it was like to live through this. America was a ghost town.

Some Presidents are defined by events that took place during their term which they had no control over…Such as an Oil Embargo, a Tech Boom or a Terrorist Attack etc.

For Reagan, there was no “Tech Boom” that Bill Clinton had nothing to do with causing …which created the jobs on Clinton's  watch. There was no Oil Embargo that Jimmy Carter had nothing to do with causing…which had lost the jobs on Carter's watch.

Reagan shaped the world, not the other way around.

Reagan changed it all.

It is fair to call Reagan the Greatest Economic President in History.

By the time Reagan was finished every enemy America had was a shell of its former self.

Communism, the idea which was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of millions of innocent people, was on life support. Islamic Fundamentalism had been neutralized. America's economy was booming. World War III had been won without firing a shot.

There has never been a President who accomplished so much.

An Obama supporter actually made this chart attempting to compare him to other Presidents... but it only proves how Ronald Reagan towers above them all.
